Cornflakes



 

Maize grits are cooked slowly, together with sugar, salt and barley malt extract until they attain the correct temperature and humidity level. They are then rolled and toasted to give them the characteristic appearance of cornflakes. Being toasted golden-brown also makes them crispy.

 

8 vitamins and iron can be added to the cornflakes.
